4D and Boost are the most innovative modern-day cushioning technologies created by adidas. The two technologies have made a huge impact individually throughout the sneaker scene. However, a combination of both in a single silhouette is something no one has ever seen. Titled the “4D Kick” by renowned sneaker leaker YankeeKicks – a name yet to receive official confirmation by adidas – this hybrid sneaker is an interesting merger of the Three Stripes technologies to create a new style.
Heels of the “4D Kick” are quite similar to the bulky structure present in the UltraBOOST 21 with a feature the black BOOST foam underneath diagonal dash of latticed 4D material in “Aero Green”. This gives the silhouette a fresh look and amplifies the overall aesthetic of the shoe. The midsole’s forefoot arrives in a simple olive foam while the upper indulges green and black meshes with a black midfoot Three Stripe graphic and an extended heel clip. Black Continental rubber outsoles conclude the shoe.
The shoe is yet to be given a release date as well as a name but is expected to arrive sometime this summer or spring.
