The Nike Air Max 90 Laser in ‘Mahogany’ has surfaced as this year’s sophomore one-piece leather release and is expected to drop this Fall. Even though it feels as if the Natural colorways were released months ago, delays due to COVID have pushed back the release of the pair to June. The pair was revealed back in February, and the Mahogany version of the silhouette is expected to drop soon, with the release of the official images indicating a proximal drop date.
As always, the design is covered in wood grain-like pigments to enhance the essence of the effortlessly engraved appearance. A deep, dark shade of red can be seen attaching itself to the one-piece upper. The signature Air Max 90 design lines are present, along with the lasering highlighting the curves and edges of Tinker’s iconic design complementing each other. Between that, you notice a geographical etching that represents terrain maps, with only a few select sections left untainted in its original tumbled form, including the Swoosh, collar, vamp, and tongue. As anticipated, with a release of this elusive caliber, the pair is donned with luxe leather liners and insoles, along with elegant off-white midsoles and mahogany rubber outsoles. The Air supports truly bring the whole pair together.
Although an official release date for Nike Air Max 90 Laser “Mahogany” is yet to be revealed, you can expect this pair to drop on Nike in the coming weeks. Scroll to see more images.
