A-COLD-WALL* bossman Samuel Ross has taken to his social media to showcase a new iteration of Nike ISPA‘s Road Warrior. A truly theoretical silhouette from the innovative Nike sub-label that looks as if it was pulled straight out of Mad Max, the Road Warrior pays tribute to all kinds of sports drinks, and more — and even rocks a Tabi toe. It’s so distinctive, in fact, that it was even noticed by Yeezy bossman, Kanye West.
The pair showcased by Ross swaps out the neutral hue of the Road Warrior’s launch colorway in favor of a bold mixture of tones. Sock-like uppers are covered in a tough mix of dark blues and purples, with the heel cage, ski boot-like fit construction and split-toe take on a simple black. On the lower half, stripped-back midsoles are done up in a volt green hue and stuff multiple grey, green and blue Zoom Air units in their Nike Shox- alike to the Pebax plates. Black outsoles sum off the look.
It’s likely hit shelves later this fall, and if the past pair is any indication the retail price will be set at a astronomical $500 USD.
