Adidas and OAMC have revealed its Fall/Winter 2020 sneaker roster. After the collaborative Type O-4 and Type O-5 iterations from the previous month, the two brands have showcased the Type O-8, with a brand new variant of the Type O-5. The inspiration for each silhouette is taken from the lightweight, hi-tech designs that bold contrast synthetic and natural materials for a bold hybrid look.
The Type O-8 sneaker is a calmer take on the time-honored Samba. adidas’ logo is embedded at the top of the tongue, followed by a set of tonal laces and a suede-tinged toecap. “OAMC” is placed at the sidewalls, added by ripstop-lined Three Stripes branding that’s etched with jagged top-stitching. Sleek leather uppers cover the rest of the body, finished off by a semi-transparent midsole.
Rocking a trail running-inspired design is the Type O-5. The sneaker comes with a sleek mold, built with ventilated mesh, ripstop, and altering rubber overlays. Accentuated with a designer edge, the shoe’s forefoot is highlighted with tonal top-stitching around the laces, while finely textured suede appears along the heel and toebox. Other details like the large rubber panel at the rear quarter and a hinged midsole round off the technical design.
Adidas and OAMC’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection is currently available on OAMC’s website, going from $257 – $309 USD.
