Adidas and Xbox to Release Sneaker Collaboration
According to the sources, adidas’s partnership with Xbox is all set this year for a series of co-branded sneakers. The first in the Adidas x Xbox shoe series is designated to arrive in June, followed by others in October. These dates can be approximate.
Neither Adidas nor Xbox has made the project official, but an Adidas document which came into light does point towards upcoming Xbox sneakers. A promo version of a new shoe called the Forum Tech Boost in June will be released first, followed by two pairs of Adidas’ retro Forum Mid basketball sneaker in October and then a drop of the Forum Tech in November. The plan also indicates more Xbox x Adidas sneakers scheduled for 2022. The packaging of the sneakers will be black and green boxes with the logos of Xbox on them.
The above shown sneaker is a work-in-progress version of the upcoming Xbox x Adidas Forum Tech Boost. The upper, visible BOOST cushioning of the sneaker carries an Xbox logo with technical mesh made to look like the Xbox Series X console, and synthetic leather. This just being the first-round sample of the Forum Tech Boost, the final sneaker that will release later this year could look significantly different.
