From its inception in 2015, the adidas NMD R1 has experienced it all. Initially a very exclusive, limited in number sneaker to a easily available daily wear sneaker. The upcoming months mark the silhouette’s fifth year in the industry from when it debuted back in New York City via a launch event.
The upcoming framework is yet another take on a modern-day Trefoil classic. Colored in a recognizable “EQT Yellow” tone, the shoe arrives in a sock shaped Primeknit upper. The yellow is spread out majorly with matching laces and black accenting on the heels and the tongue. The debuting Hu spells out NMD in tonal yellow embroidery on the toebox individualizing itself from its earlier counterparts. Completing the pair is a full-foot white BOOST midsole with textured heel blocks in black.
The pair has made itself available in the UK via adidas UK at a price of approximately $200 USD while the US release still awaits.
