adidas Originals and Kerwin Frost Launch their First Full Collaborative Collection 

Following the exotic launch of the comically oversized ‘Superstuffed’ Superstar sneakers, Kerwin Frost once again with adidas Originals for a full collaborative collection. Filling the brand with youthful energy and the lexicon of Kerwin’s childhood, the mysterious cultural-polymath that never fails to create a buzz brings his inimitable lens a suite of apparel and footwear pieces.

Frost while discussing about the collaboration stated-“Creating this collection with adidas has been a dream since I was a child. Designing the product and planning the rollout has been such a wild ride – it’s so crazy that it’s going to exist in the world finally!”. Adding on he said- “I hope people are excited when they see the pieces and it makes them feel something. My main message is to not be afraid to try new things and put your thoughts on paper and definitely not give a damn what people think.”

The collection provides us with an aesthetic inspired by nostalgic imagery and throwback clothing trends. The family of graphic characters constitutes familiar faces which we may have seen in our childhood, but instead of being cute and comforting they create a sense of surrealism and fantasy. The collection includes oversized t-shirts, jean shorts, fuzzy jackets and a chile tracksuit, building a world of fun and a safe space for true independence, with bright and bold colors. The freeness felt in the design allows the consumer to feel unique and confident.

Coming to footwear, Frost has reexplored the adidas Originals Forum High and Forum Low with his own unique touch. Bringing down the iconic white and blue Forum silhouette, the KF Forum Hi Humanchives sneaker boasts the addition of a TPU molded Nose shaped lace jewel, a silicone mouth on the toe bumper and Kerwin Frost branding on the ankle strap. The KF Forum Lo Benchmate is awakened with the printed insertion of the collection’s family of graphic characters and is made up in a evident Clear Mint/Bright Blue/Solar Yellow colorway.

The first full adidas Originals by Kerwin Frost collection is launching on November 17th globally, with pricing set from INR 6999 onwards and will also be available online at adidas.co.in.
