Adidas has re-launched it’s A-ZX series in order to celebrate its ever- influential ZX line. Introduced in the 1984, these running sneakers changed athletic footwear forever as it smoothly glided into everyday life. In the 2008-09 , Trefoil celebrated A-ZX line heritage and they had iconic collaboration with Boedga to colette and HUF. In 2020-21 they are back with 26 more collaboration which will witness the “periodic table” graphic.
We will witness some super dope sneakers with the OG ZX 10000 C, a hybrid ZX 8000 Superstar and an atmos ZX 8000 “G-SNK.” RE (Retro) is what the ZX 10000 checks off on the periodic table and marks the OG first ever re- release colorways . It’s trim build with a mix of black, white and blue it’s surely an awaited blast from the past for the strips fan. Coinciding with the 50 year anniversary of the Superstar is the ZX 8000 . It checks out the “S( Superstar)” in the periodic table. The silhouette of this classic remains the same expect for the latest addition of the yellow shelltoe-style toe cap.
And the last on the list is the ZX 8000 “G-SNK” which falls in “A(Atmos) in the periodic table. Although it’s already released in Japan , A-ZX pack will launch it globally. With its bright green reflective snakeskin, furry material and bold black hit will be off the shelves in no time. Adidas has informed that the nest collaboration will be “Ir” probably infrared or with the NYC graffiti crew IRAK.
The release of the ZX 10000 C OG will be on 7 August, the ZX 8000 Superstar on 14th August and the ZX 8000 “G-SNK” on 28th August. All these sneakers will be available on the Adidas website. The price is yet to be revealed.
