Adidas has collaborated with NIGO’s Human Made, Pharrell, and more recently Jonah Hill to celebrate the anniversary of the iconic Superstar silhouette. Adidas continues the celebration with their collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto’s label, Y-3 to create the Hicho sneaker. This new sneaker is a new platform style of the Superstar silhouette. The leather upper is given a luxe fabrication marked with paint of neutral leaning — its Y-3 and Three Stripes branding adjacent contrasting only at few points. Elsewhere, the tooling delivers a much larger size, stacking the base silhouette’s sole with another layer. It is scheduled to be launched on July 15th, 2020 at at retail price of $280.
