As the innovative genius moves towards the end of 2021 and into 2022, he’s already got some new colorways in his mind, one of which is the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Red”.
Similar to Kanye’s famous Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” and the upcoming adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR ‘Vermillion,” this forthcoming take also appears in an all-red aesthetic. The upper half is constructed of a full PrimeKnit base that is firmly woven around the heels and mudguards but becomes looser around the toe boxes and side panels to create a striped pattern. The sock-like collar provides a snug fit and comes completely submerged in a scarlet hue. While this is only a mock-up, the ribbed midsole piece appears to be wrapped with a darker tint of red.
