Kanye West has always believed in the idea that people who want his shoes should get them. Soon after announcing the restock of the Yeezy Slides, Ye has announced that the cult favorite Yeezy 350 v2 ‘Zebra’ colorway will be getting it’s staggering fifth (and most probably not final) restock for the summertime on the 27th of June 2020.
They will be releasing on adidas.com, Yeezy Supply, and a few retailers for a retail price of $220 USD or ₹22,000. The pair has seen a massive drop in resale value, due to these repeated re-releases, from $1500+ in 2017 to around $300 recently (depending on your size) but it still
This is not an isolated case either. In recent times, many would agree that the Yeezy 350 v2 has lost its place amongst the “hype” silhouettes. This is mainly because of how common they have become. However, the actual production number is not the only thing to worry about. To date, there have been around 50 colorways of only the 350 V2s that have been released. And this is excluding restocks.
Nonetheless, the Zebra colorway will undoubtedly sell out instantly. The perfect dates have been selected for the sneaker release as they have been set to release after the end of the global lockdown. The Yeezy 350 Zebra is the perfect summertime shoe. It consists of an almost all-white upper, with black stripes to create a zebra skin/marbled effect. This pair also comes with a white outsole, a white pull tab, and bright red text which reads “SPLY-350” running across the lateral side of the shoe.
If you do end up purchasing the pair, whether you cop them for retail or have to pay resale, do take care of the fact that this is almost an entirely white shoe, and the pair does not look nearly as good when the upper start yellowing, and getting dirty. Luckily there is a solution. You can use the water, dirt, and stain repellent that FabShield sells to ensure the longevity of your new pair, or use their premium cleaning wipes in case the damage has already been done. They can be bought from Street Sense Marketplace.
