Right after the Yeezy Quantum basketball edition gets its more mainstream launch later next month, the new silhouette, designed by Kanye West in collaborating with adidas, will be getting a completely different colourway soon. This new colourway of the Quantum, named “Barium”, has been revealed, and we got its first look thanks to Instagram account @wavegod_thelegend. Based on the photo we saw on his profile, showing off the medial side of the shoe, the upper definitely seems to have a different design, opting for an olive green knit instead of the old digital patterns. This upper is also layered with a translucent plastic, seemingly made of TPU, in Kanye’s traditional organic, wavy patterns. The rest of the Yeezy Quantum stays familiar and unchanged, with the black ankle panels, and throat, contrasting grey heel counters, and of course, the white mid sole, all staying the same.
The pair is expected to drop on the usual Yeezy drop locations, such as adidas.com, Yeezy Supply, and other retailers this Summer for $250.
