Back in May we saw a rumoured pic of the Adidas YEEZY SLIDE in “Core” and “Soot,” iterations and now the pairs have been revealed in their official colorways .
The Kanye West-designed slide is typical of ‘Ye’s minimal aesthetic, offering very almost zero branding while letting the styling of the super comfy slide speak for itself.
The pair is constructed from injected EVA foam which forms the slides very lightweight yet long-lasting, and are summed in a smooth and classy matte look. In the inner portion of the Adidas YEEZY SLIDE one can find a soft footbed, while the sole acts as the silhouette’s centre of attraction. Mindfully placed grooves give optimum traction and support, and give off a wavy look that’s unique compared to anything West has ever created before. A small swooping indent has been added at the rear and acts as the only piece of exterior detail. A minimalistic Adidas three stripe logo has been embedded into the footbed, finishing off the stark pair. The adidas YEEZY SLIDE in “Core” and “Soot” are dropping for a budget friendly $60 USD, and is due to drop at outlets worldwide, including Hanon, on September 3.
