The success of the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Low in 2020 was the unprecedented hype for its two-piece “City Pack” that included soft-hued releases for fashion capitals in Milan (Mid) and Paris (Low). Retro releases remained low in front of the demand for the duo, for the proceeding months, which goes to show that premium materials and a well-considered palette can transcend preconceived beliefs. Now, it seems that Nike will be heading across the English Channel to celebrate another city in another muted palate with this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort “London”.
The London Jordan 1 Zoom High, arriving in hues akin to the aforementioned Low, is a mix of muted greys and elegant sail, with soft peach and pink culminating at the collar and tongue. Brand accents of blue-green mimic those found on March’s Air Max 1 ode to the city, all resting atop sail mid and grey rubber outsole. A debossed leather LDN hangtag in a comparable finish to those seen on the aforementioned pack from early 2020, complete the whole design.
Euro retailers BSTN has confirmed a release date for the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort “London” for February 26th via a raffled release. Grab a look at the pair in detail here below.
