The New Balance 550 enjoyed a big-name collaboration like most retro model revivals to kick things off before a full-fledged overloading of the market. That collaboration was with Aimé Leon Dore last year, who is returning again with two more vintage-treated options this month. Although, if you are chasing something a little more colorful and a lot less expensive then this mainline New Balance 550 “White Multi-Color” is the one for you.
Featured in the silhouette is smooth and perforated white leather present majorly along with bold strikes of orange, green, navy, and gold clearly showing the pair is affixed to its retro roots. Midfoot N motifs and heel wraps flaunt a striking orange hue, with mid greens countering each other at the liner and toe. While Navy serves a similar impact at the heel and forefoot, vibrant golden yellow hits the heel and forefoot branding to finish the design.
The New Balance 550 “White Multi-Color” is set to release on May 22nd and the retail price is set at $100.
