An All-Female Team Designed the New adidas Ultraboost 22 to Create the Perfect Fit for the Female Foot
Adidas has a long history of innovation, and their latest silhouette is a testament to their commitment. Adidas used an online anatomy database of 1.2 million scans of feet to create the all-new Adidas UltraBOOST 22 to be the perfect running shoe for women. The updated silhouette returns an additional 4% of energy to women runners, allowing them to run strong and steady.
The Adidas Ultraboost is one of the most comfortable sneakers you can wear. If you have worn one, you know that it is made with the highest quality materials. Despite its premium design, adidas was able to refine and re-engineer the fit to significantly improve the running experience for women. By re-engineering the upper and adding the LEP torsion system to the BOOST midsole, 4% more energy is returned than in previous Ultraboost models. Additionally, the shoe features a natural Continental rubber outsole and yarn made with 50% Parley Ocean Plastic. Additionally, the new Primeknit upper has a unique S-curve design that has a narrower heel cup and shallower forefoot profile to better cater to the anatomical characteristics of a female foot.
A global release for the pair is set for December 9th. Adidas will be offering these sneakers in-store and online for $190 USD.
