You now have the opportunity to join the SNKRS app if you’ve ever wanted to: An open request for new SNKRS Live hosts has been made by Nike. SNKRS Live is a community-focused section of the SNKRS app that features live programming, exclusive interviews, and the odd shock release. It is a crucial component of Nike’s aim to encourage audience participation with the app, which goes beyond merely attempting to obtain the newest drops.
Little more is required of interested parties than to visit the SNKRS Open Call portal, complete a short questionnaire, and upload a small video that captures their “on-camera presence.” As one question asks about availability to attend an in-person audition in NYC and another inquires about proximity to the city, some of the questions also suggest that it would be ideal for possible applicants to reside in or close to New York City. Additionally, it is made plain that prospective hosts won’t be hired directly by Nike but rather hired on a per-appearance basis by one of Swoosh’s agency partners.
