Post the collaboration with AWAKE, ASICS wishes to enlarge its footwear variants for the second piece of the capsule with Limited Edt and SBTG with the the Gel Lyte III “Monsoon Patrol II”. Much similar to the earlier collaboration of the trio in 2018, this project also revolves around discovery, exploration and monsoon ideology based on Singapore.
The collection will be inclusive of 2 colorways “Lichen Green/Piedmont Grey” and “Black/Black” namely. The latter will be drastically limited in number and will be revealed in due time. Its alternative will be arriving in a vibrant tone, a complete opposite from the one in 2018 which was composed in earthy tones. Uppers are crafted in the suede material with alternate accenting in grey and green, the former looks after the toe boxes and midfoot while the latter is responsible for the surrounding panels. Laces doubling up in number, yellow dye colored on the usual tongue while the other arrives in stark black reaching all the way to the bottom onto the forefoot and covering the heel. The padded shroud will be making a comeback with “Monsoon Patrol” lettering. Insoles will be arriving in camo print with SBTG printing across for a collaborative touch.
The pair will be launching via Limited Edt and SBTG coming January 7th for a price of $156 USD.
