In the light of it’s 30th anniversary year, the Asics Gel Lyte III has been reintroduced in OG and New/collaborative colorways.
Possibly to get along with the Summer season, the brand has been favoring vibrant tones like it did in the case of it’s collaboration with Sean Wotherspoon and Atmos. Even the OG colorway that was meant for celebrating its 30th anniversary was seen is bright and vibrant colours.
But according to the latest colorway, it seems like the brand is switching to neutral colors with the season coming to an end. This time the Gel Lyte III was released in a “Piedmont Grey” Hue. The shoe is completely covered in Suede of the same color which also matches with the outsole of the sneaker. The midsole has a slightly lower value in the greyscale.
Some might say that this pair resembles with the KAWS X Jordan 4 collaboration but has a slightly lighter tone and of course a completely different silhouette. The “Piedmont Grey” is now available at select retailers for a price tag of $110.
