Awake NY is a streetwear brand based in New York Founded back in 2012 and by former Supreme brand director Angelo Baque it has showcased numerous collections with collaborations with A Ma Maniere, Reebok, Crocs, and ASICS. Following up on the collaboration on the ASICS Gel-Kayano Trainer 21 last year, the streetwear label is rejoining ASICS for a trio of GEL-Lyte III colorways.

The three colorways keep the designs simple by coming in two-tone blocking, including “White/Green,” “Blue/Yellow,” and Black/Pink.” Similar to their previous work with the Japanese footwear brand, the AWAKE name is printed right onto the heel of all three GEL-LYTE IIIs. In addition, Angelo Baque and the team have played around with the shoe’s Tiger Stripe, rendering it entirely see-through. What’s more, a dark netting has been inserted across the mid-panel as well as just under the heel tab, the latter of which sports a silver metallic finish on each colorway. The pairs differ across their suede overlays and nylon base elsewhere, opting for either Tan and Blue, Purple and Black, or Green and Cream palettes.

All the colorways are now available in the Awake NY x ASICS GEL-Lyte III and are slated to be released on 4th August through online and in-store retailers at a retail price of US$130.
