Although Bape and Vans only collaborated for the first time last Fall, the two companies will team up again in 2022 for additional sneakers.
Following the release of co-branded Sk8-Hi and Authentic sneakers in November, the Japanese streetwear label and the pioneering skate company are working on another collaboration that stays true to both brands’ basic DNA. The Sk8-Hi will be featured once more, and a Bape x Vans Old Skool will be included in the collection.
According to an Instagram teaser posted by Bape Japan, the second version of the collaboration will feature at least two different shoes: a multicolor Sk8-Hi and a more classic green camo Old Skool. The Bape camo on each side panel of the Sk8-Hi is contrasted by Vans’ iconic checkerboard design on the lateral side of the left shoe, giving the sneaker a unique look.
This Bape x Vans collection does not yet have a release date.
