Honoring celebrated icon Marilyn Monroe, A Bathing Ape will be releasing a new T-shirt collection.
Utilizes glamorous and beautiful photographs that have been curated from the owner of the Marilyn Monroe Estate, the Authentic Brand Group the brand’s capsule consists of 6 tee shirts. Each pair has a photographer of the Hollywood star with BAPE’s signature motifs, including an APE HEAD graphic crafted with a collage of monochromatic photos, a black-and-white image laid over with BAPE’s pink camouflage and another highlighted by the BAPE camouflage backdrop.
The capsule collection will be available at the BAPE STORE HONG KONG and other flagships starting August 29 at a price of $800 HKD (approximately $105 USD) .
