Nike has been eyeing the SB trend for a long time and the hype surrounding dunks is at its peak from latest collaborations with different brands. Nike knows how to align the influential brands to increase the reach of their products.
The latest Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” is a collaboration between Nike and Ben and Jerry’s which is an American company that manufactures ice cream and yogurt . The shoe is inspired by the classic banana , fudge and walnut “Chunky Monkey” ice cream flavor. The upper of the shoe is made of green pastures and blue skies representing cow print pony hair. The melting yellow swoosh logos takes inspiration from brand’s signature purveyor pint pail.
The shoe comes with Chunky Dunky branding on the tongue tags and the swappable laces , rainbow sockliners and a white midsole paired with green outsole complete the look of shoe.
So grab a pair of Chunky Dunky’s and treat yourself with Ben and Jerry’s banana fudge ice-cream . The shoe is going to release at select skate shops globally on May 23 and on Nike SNKRS May 26.
