Billie Eilish‘s forthcoming album Happier Than Ever’s anticipation is building up as its launch is scheduled for July 30, 2021, but before this new music release, the GRAMMY Award winning artist is now also bringing light to another project of hers: an Air Jordan 1 KO collaboration. Eilish’s fashion sense you’d notice is a huge fan of sneakers and is often seen swaying Nike collaborations and Jordans, so this initial footwear partnership with Jordan Brand makes plenty of sense.
Vibrant colors play a huge role in Eilish’s wardrobe, and she surely transfers that playful energy to these collaborative kicks. Choosing for the monochromatic motif, the “Lost Cause” crooner envelops everything from the nylon tongues to the leather side walls to bottom pieces in a neon volt hue. Tongue branding has been altered here as the traditional Nike Air hit has been swapped for her signature Blohsh insignia. Her namesake is also printed across the volt insoles in black font beside a Jumpman logo. Potentially nodding to her powerful songwriting abilities is a cobranded notebook packaged with the kicks.
An official release has not been achieved yet, but it’s expected to see a release towards the end of 2021.
