The official images of Air Jordan 1 High “Hyper Royal” have surfaced after they were first teased in 2020. The pair draws inspiration from the 2018 “He Got Game” colorway of the Nike AJ1 High but instead rocks an entirely new leather/suede construction and artfully faded look.
The toebox and quarters are done in crisp white leather, with signature detail provided by washed out “Hyper Royal” suede on toebox, eyestays, collar flaps and heel. The material contrast on this pair is what makes the sneaker interesting. The full leather upper with blue suede gives an idea of a worn out denim. More of the suede can be seen on gray Swooshes and collars with a pop of bright blue arriving on the white nylon tongue’s Nike-branded fabric tag. White laces hold everything together and white midsoles work with gray outsoles to round off the look.
The expected release date for this Air Jordan 1 is April 17 with a standard MSRP of $170 USD.
