Christie’s is set to auction Daniel Arsham’s collection of artworks. This the first time his individual collection is being auctioned because previously, only his collaborative artworks had been auctioned. The collection named “Archeology of the future” consists of the “future relic” and “crystal relic” apart from their collaborative works with Pokemon, Disney and Dior. The prices of items such as the eroded clocks, basketballs and telephones have prices ranging from $4,000 to $500,000. Other items include a nearly one-foot-tall Blue Crystalized Pikachu collectible, as well as a bronze hourglass sculpture from 2019. The idea behind crystallized artwork depict his idea that our current products and ideas will be a representation of our generation to the future. Bidding will run from June 19 to June 30 on Christie’s official website.
