After joining forces for the Fall 2020 for crisp translations of the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95, Denham and Nike will be associating again to work on the classic Blazer Mid ‘77. Keeping a majority of the components such as the leathers, suede overlays intact, slight experimentation is expected mainly at the mid-foot.
Taking inspiration from the vintage Blazers, the leather uppers feature a crisp white background with shaggy foot overlays in a light grey tone. The swoosh has been experimented with and now arrives in Denham’s indigo kimono fabric accented with Sashiko stitching forming a cross-like pattern throughout. The lace holes close to the ankle and the perimeter around the Nike check arrive in a bright red tone while a beige tone is spotted on the tongue, heel panels and lace tips, the latter of which feature the scissor insignia.
Concluding the classic vibe of the shoe is a traditional white and gum combination of midsole and sole.
The raffle for the shoe is open on the Denham website until February 10 and the pair will be retailing at an approx. of $217 USD.
