Detailed Look at the Heat Reactive Air Jordan 1 Mid
As Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 1 Mid continues to grow in stature, the Jumpman continues to experiment with its materials and build — and one of the latest results of this experimentation is a pair with heat reactive detailing. Combining a crisp, classic base with a vibrant, unique rear half, it’s an optimal blend of old and new that helps put the mid-cut Air Jordan 1 on more level ground with other models in the Air Jordan lineup.
The heels, collar flaps and tongue tags are enclosed in a material which is sensitive to heat that transforms shades from blue to yellow and green in stimulas to light and temperature. This feature being undeniably striking, the rest of the design is all business in courtesy of the white toebox and quarter panels plus a black mudguard, eyestays and Swooshes, all atop a timeless leather build. Extra branding is provided by a white nylon tongue plus ball-and-wings on the collar flaps and the Jumpman logos on the tongue tag. Down below, are the white midsoles and black outsoles that complete the look.
The kicks are likely to arrive at retailers later this summer.
