Drake And Nike Officially Announce NOCTA, A Sub-Label Inspired By His Creative Process
Champagnepapi is a big brand name in the music as well as fashion industry and we all know his love for checks over stripes. Nocta was first teased in Laugh Now Cry Later music video that was shot at the Nike headquarters in Beaverton Oregon. The collection is inspired by 6God’s nocturnal creative process, NOCTA has some unique potential as it already appears tantalizingly promising as the brand teases a bubble down jacket and matching winter apparel. Toronto based rapper exclaimed that this was a dream come true and it reminds him of the Nike athletes who were an inspiration for him.
NOCTA is geared towards those who embrace the grind, who burn the midnight oil, and who don’t let the hours of the day dictate when work starts and ends. How that applies to wearable gear: “NOCTA is about creating something for people on the move. People who want functional, comfortable fits that are adaptable from one environment to the next.”
Nike confirms a release date of December 18th, so we can certainly expect the brand to reveal more as the date arrives. More details to come on nocta.com.
