DTLR, a lifestyle footwear, and apparel brand known for collaborations that feature not only bold colors but also compelling stories. DTLR is all set to expand its collaborative collection with New Balance this month with the release of the 2002R “Masquerade” team-up.
Both parties have come together to honor the duality of the lifestyle silhouette as well as to pay homage to the ordinary vs. remarkable. The color schemes are contrasted, with the forefoot having a more traditional look and the back having a more daring pattern. The back is decorated with festive colors of blue, orange, pink, and purple embellishments reminiscent of the colorful masks seen around this time of year ahead of the Mardi Gras celebrations. The usual reflective N logos have been replaced with double-stitched N logos, and the shoelaces from the 992s have been moved to this version. The midsoles have white backdrops and are paired with red exposed foam cushioning and a multi-toned outsole down below.
We can expect the DTLR x New Balance 2002R “Masquerade” to release on February 11 for $155 USD via DTLR.
