Early Glimpse at Drake’s Nike Air Force 1 “Certified Lover Boy” Collaboration
Drake‘s most awaited “Certified Lover Boy” has still not got any official release dates but if one thing is sure that he’s going to be dropping some collaborative footwear with Nike to coincide with the new record. Following the preview of some of his NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra colorways, the OVO rapper is now all set to release his Air Force 1 “Certified Lover Boy”.
The bird’s eye perspective may portray this as a simple look like any other all-white Air Force 1s, but his slight constructional tweaks to its design make it one of a kind. The smooth white leathers usually found on the crispy white Forces at your local mall are replaced with a premium leather build. Down below on the midsole, the customary “Air” branding on the lateral heel is exchanged for a spelled out debossed “Love You Forever”. It’s unclear as to whether or not this may be a lyric or a song title, but it overtly speaks to the “Lover Boy” mantra that the unreleased record possesses. To add momentum to the design, the textures at the front of the shoe have been altered from triangles to heart shapes.
Early reports say that the pair is scheduled to drop sometime during the Fall season, but Drake and Nike have not confirmed this.
