Feng Chen Wang X Converse to drop Jack Purcell sneakers for FW20
Feng Chen Wang continues to work with Converse and have created the all new Jack Purcell sneakers. These sneakers were originally revealed in the London Fashion Week show earlier this year, and are expected to be launched alongside a capsule of asymmetrical apparel and accessories. The suede and leather upper of the shoe features segmentation and a traditional Chinese basket weaving technique. Other details include details include three Mandarin characters spelling out the designer’s name, which make up the layers of the upper. The sneaker is set to release in either black or “Sea Salt” colorways. The capsule collection includes a selection of asymmetrical pieces, including a jacket, vest, shorts, pants and short sleeve T-shirts, as well as a cap and cross-body bag. In an interview, Feng Chen Wang said “Although I have been living in London for 10 years, I always refer back to my home, to where I have come from and who I am. Incorporating my Chinese heritage is very important to me.” It is scheduled to be launched on 6th August 2020.
