With Kanye shacked up in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to finish up “DONDA“, leading a completely essentialist lifestyle, the adidas YEEZY HQ is comfortably preparing his footwear for the upcoming ‘YEEZY Day’. Alongside the new colorways of the Foam Runner and the 700 v3, we can also expect the Yeezy Boost 700 v2 “Mauve” to drop soon.
Even though it is a spiritual successor to the same-named 700 v1, the pair does have its own relatively unique, and arguably elevated, features. Unlike the original, the greyed-out neutrals are much more highlighted, dressing not just the suede mudguard and heel but also the eye stay and toe cap. Underneath, the titular brown hue serves as more of an accent, dressing the mesh throughout the upper as well as the entire midsole. Gum bottoms then finish the pair, maintaining the signature neutral earthy YEEZY look.
