Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club was founded with a motto that wealth is of the heart and mind, not the pocket. But it is not advisable for you to expect a cheap pair of their NMD collaboration with Pharrel Williams and adidas. Though their design language consists of wild graphics and vibrant use of colors, this time BBC has reverted to something a little simplistic for it’s latest link-up with adidas, honoring their famed Astronaut motif in the process.
The interstellar traveler embroidery is embossed onto the forefeet of both shoes, whereas the ribbed, metallic silver upper resonates with the retro spacesuits of the bygone era. Everywhere else the pair appears comparatively simple, with white BOOST midsoles, milky-translucent caging and midsole inserts, and a grey rubber outsole underfoot. To complete the design co-branding is featured in the rear and arrives in black.
