First look at the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High “Duck”
This surely has been a year with plenty of Nike SB Dunks, Highs and Lows Jordans and Air forces drops paired with noteworthy collaborations. Concepts is looking back at their previous tie ups with their good old friend Nike SB to add a novel new Dunk High silhouette to their surging stash of SB Dunks. Nike has interpreted swimming birds accents and elements of waterfowl and Mallard Duck in its entirety. Shrouded in furry tan quarter panels, brown suede that blends between toe tips and back end of the silhouette to represent its body. The orange bottom soles mimics their waddling webbed feet. The shoe tongue looks green and glossy with yellow colour brand patch presenting Nike SB branding. The second half of the flashy blue swoosh flawlessly blends with rear segment of the kicks. Peeping into the interiors of the shoes its has distinct looking patterns of trees and birds design with soles being cream coloured embossed with a Nike SB branding.
Lately the collabs from Concepts with the brands like New balance 327 “cape” and Adidas ZX 9000 “Mylar Blanket” have stuck to Boston’s ambience and vibes which quite translates the same hometown mentality. These might even be homage to “Make way for Ducklings” by robert McCloskey. Stay tuned for the official date release.
