First Look at the GORE-TEX Air Jordan 1 Element “Light Bone” 

Winter-ready Jordans have served to be a frequent player for Nike since the last few years, having the Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 4 and scrapped Air Jordan 8 releasing over the past. Continuing the streak the brand seems to be launching some new options for the treacherous winters that are “Winterized Air Jordan 1 Element/Gore-Tex silhouette, releasing mainly at the end of 2021. The new takes are expected to have a Gore-Tex overhaul accompanying waterproof and insulated textiles with the leathers at the upper portion of the shoe which has resulted in its price range reaching a high of $200 USD. Arriving in two ways, let’s take a detailed look at the Sail/ Light Bone colorway courtesy of @pvasneakers.

Just like the previously previewed black-based pairs, the upcoming pair too contains a multi-material construction for the ripstop leather and more, having identical blocking placements. However, its choice of use is almost the polar opposite. The sail hues appear on the upper portion towards the rear overlays, whereas the light bone leathers work from the collar to the eyestays and across the forefoot overlays. The pair comes with a much bolder branding, ditching the tonal look in favor of a bold contrasting black. Supporting components come at the liners, laces and on the Swooshes. Towards the end, the signature half black/ half translucent outsole sits at the bottom below the complete design.
