Adidas has been constructing a 3D printed soles from past few years considering them as future of foot ware making which packs a techy and cool aesthetic making them look advanced. Yohji Yamamoto has been allied with adidas since 2003 and stirring out status quo-challenging designs via adidas.
The recent addition to the tie up’s 4D lineage showcases in the form of Y-3 Runner 4D IO. The shoe uppers is multi-layered, topping with a netted mesh mimicking the honey comb the inner material both put together give a tinge of light blue, also uppers bordered with black piping and featuring black laces completing quite a flashy look. The soles are 3D printed and has brand name printed on both the sides of the periphery of the shoes.
The tongue of the shoes are lengthy and has Y-3 heat printed on it. It also has 3 stripe brand logo overshadowed by netted type fabric gives a different hint of colour for the 3 striped logo making it stand out from the other tones of uppers. The bottom the shoe is topped with black coloured unconventional or unorthodox 3D printed soles. The heel tab and shoe tongue put together gives yeezy vibes. Further release details are still not disclosed.
