First Look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Noise Aqua”
The Amsterdam-based retailers Patta are famously known for their Air Max 1 collaborations. It sometimes gets difficult even for them to live up to their standards like the “Cherrywood”, “Chlorophyll”, and “Purple Denim” — amongst many, many more. This year Patta will deliver two more iterations of the sneaker in “Monarch” and “Noise Aqua” and with it brings both some fresh design tweaks and some signature Patta flair.
First looks mark the return of the iconic forefoot mini Swoosh — a staple of their AM1 collabs — but this one isn’t just a phone-in collab. The team has entirely overhauled the upper with a heavy-duty ballistic mesh in grey, whilst overlays of white leather cover the heel, vamp, and midfoot. The titular hue hits the Swoosh and mudguards in suede — the latter of which has been redesigned in a wavy zig-zag finish all around the shoe The pair is then completed by oh-so-in aged-look midsoles, and tri-colored outsoles of gum, Monarch, and black. The second pair is expected to be the same, with the titular orange-tan hue replaced with muted aqua.
