Nike is celebrating the 50th-anniversary of the Swoosh with a new colorway of the Nike Dunk High “First Use” which is releasing in coming weeks in “University Red.” This silhouette was previously unveiled back in May clad in a mix of “White/Forest Green.”
This Dunk High “First Use” has a bright red upper, fusing a leather base layer with matching suede overlays, and is lifted by a white midsole and a red rubber outsole. The shoe comes with a double set of laces and a metallic gold diamond-set Swoosh lace lock. The legacy of the iconic design is established by “First Use June 18, 1971” printed below the white embroidered Swoosh, “1971” on the insoles, and writing on the tongue tag explaining the “First Use” pack’s inspiration.
The Nike Dunk High “First Use” in “University Red” priced at $120 USD is reported to release June 18 on the 50th-anniversary of the Swoosh.
