Virgil Abloh is anything but conventional, and his new collaboration with Nike for his takes on the classic Blazer Low colorway proves this. The jury remains divided about his iterations of the Blazer Low. The Off-White CEO has completely transformed the shoe, giving it an all-new futuristic look.
Following in the footsteps of its black rendition, the white features similar elements such as two circular incisions and a second lace unit, seemingly inspired by mountaineering. The other bright yellow lace unit strings through the pair, popping against the red on the Swoosh and heel tab, providing contrast. On the other hand, the leather construction, nylon tongue, and lining are all seen in the base white hue, which seems to compliment the yellow sole, which is allegedly modified to resemble the Terra Humara.
There isn’t any official word on the release of the pair, but stay tuned for updates. In the meanwhile, here are some sneak peeks.
