Innovated by Japanese streetwear legend Tetsu Nishiyama in 1993 — his first completely-fledged adventure — FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS has unveiled a brand-new cooperative creation with Nike SB on the easily skatable Zoom Blazer Low.
FPAR’s abecedarian principle is grounded on the idea that any original artwork changed at least 40 no longer has its rights — and that belief is brought into the limelight in a nonfictional fashion, as this brace doesn’t distance itself too from their 2019 trouble with Nike SB on the Dunk High. Keeping in that theme, the FPAR x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low continues a greyscale approach, with slate-slate suede uppers working into tonal sole units before a slew of differing accouterments and textures trip the low-cut coach in droves. Textured Whistles work in accord with leather speeches and co-branded heel overlays in both finish and tinge, whilst a light slate suede set of eyestay overlays are plastered on top. There’s a pop of snakeskin at the wide forefoot, and more co-branding plant at the insoles, and special forefoot dubrae bling. Incipiently, Tetsu has flipped the lingo markers from shoe to shoe for an intriguing final touch.
An alternate colorway of the FPAR x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low has appeared in tonal tans, complete with gold homestretches to the forefoot dubraes. Snare a detailed look at both dyads below.
