After the leak in the May of last year, the mythical “University Gold” OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low has been off the buzz. No official reports or any kind of information was released regarding the pair but all thanks to @SHOF and @brandon1an, who now have clarified the specifics for the pair, which is now expected to arrive in July.
The Pairs are expected to release solely at Virgil’s ICA Boston exhibit in two colorways ; one just like our mock-up above and below and the other in all-yellow with a black Swoosh. Judging by the style which Uni Blue pair dropped at Chicago’s MCA , it seems that once again we’ll be forced to fork out several stacks on the aftermarket to secure a pair. The good news is that, with yesterday’s announcement that Virgil and Nike will revisit their multi-pair collaborative capsule, with the OFF-WHITE x Nike “The 20” collection expecting to see a release later this year as a pretty hefty consolation prize.
Virgil Abloh has arranged for King James , the All-Star captain , a special signed pair of the alternate OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low “University Gold” for his All-Star Game arrival. Another early look at the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low “University Gold” has surfaced by the courtesy of @pvasneakers.
The release for the pair is expected for July, though no announcements or confirmation were made by either Virgil or Nike.
