Before the arrival of its quarterly reports on May 27, Gap teased more details about its upcoming YEEZY line. While little has been said by the group in the past, Business of Fashion reported that Gap is confident that the line is “on track” to unveil by the end of June this year.
Bloomberg revealed earlier this year that the brand hopes to make $150 million USD from the YEEZY line in its first full year hence being of financial importance for Gap. Since the collaboration with Kanye West‘s YEEZY was revealed in June 2020, Gap has had a shaky year. The retailer was compelled to close 225 stores in August -coming after an 18% decline in overall sales- before announcing more closing and losses at the end of the year.
As the arrival of Gap YEEZY approaches, watch out for more details about the collaboration and its official unveil.
