The design is faithful to the original silhouette, up top. Panels layer atop in a grey shade, compliments the deep reds that emphasis the construction. One of the many bold features, the Stripes, dresses with extremely textured, robust suedes, while the lining, woven label, and brand insignia stick to more ordinary cloth, synthetic, and leather materials. The strap is also relatively untouched, though its branding is replaced with the Japanese label’s usual mottos, also including the heels. Below the pair gets far more interesting as it opts to make use of modern adidas Hoops toolings.
