Human Made and Adidas Pay Homage to Old Bapestas with Rivalry Low
We all know the time when Nigo was the head of BAPE and many consider that time to be the golden time of that brand. To commemorate his legendary career as the head of the infamous company, Nigo and Human Made has tapped onto Adidas to draw inspiration from the Bapestas and paint them on the Rivalry Low silhouette.
The lead from the pack is the shoe covered in bright candy reds taking over the toe cap and heel wrap, while yellow and blue tones accent abruptly just adjacent the three stripes branding on the shoe. Dark blue hues take over the spaces around the tongue and the lining area.
Other one also uses the same colorblocking, a pairing of yellows, greens, and orange in near replication of past palettes — the Rivalry variant simply makes us remember the Bapestas from the NIGO era.
Last one which is by far the most neutral of the set, gives the air of classic Ice Cream classics while following the collection’s theme as it also seems to loosely borrow from the veritably iconic Bape flagship.
The collaboration is set to drop on August 6th for $150 each.
