Even though HYKE’s relevance in today’s day and age is questionable, the Japanese label is well known in other countries, mostly famous for some The North Face collaborations which went on to become runway pieces, and they even joined Adidas to for a sneaker collaboration. From 2016 to now, everything’s been pretty silent for them, but now the two are coming together again to create a capsule of performance apparel, Stan Smiths, and Ultra Boosts.
Starting off with womenswear, the capsule is strong in terms of garments, and they use sweatshirts, sportswear basics, and even dresses to shape the sportswear to suit their narrative. And the cageless Ultra Boosts are the best compliments to these, with three classic runners; white, black, or tan. The label apparently prefers lifestyle more, as the forthcoming sneakers either prefer versatility or python print. The capsule will release worldwide on the 13th of June, with a pre launch on the 27th of May.
