Takashi Murakami and J Balvin‘s previous collaboration marking the “Colores” album that included hoodies and tshirts sold out within few seconds. We all know the hype for J Balvin collection after the un-attainable Ben Baller floral jewelry collection. Now both artists have rejoined for a collaborative effort to launch a capsule collection for second round of smiling flower-laden casualwear that is indebted to “Rojo” and “Amarillo,” two standout tracks from Colores.
The Tshirts and hoodies are emblazoned with Murakami’s grining flower artwork and
thematic graffiti-style text that appropriately reads “Rojo,” “Amarillo” or “J Balvin.”
The black accents with red and yellow cool off the things a bit and gives the collection a perfect blend of heightened visibility and contrast.
The collection will be exclusive to JOYCE in Hong Kong, but they’ll also launch online. The collection is set to launch on July 17th.
