Just a few weeks away from J Balvin’s new album- Jose release, the artist took to his Instagram to tease another upcoming project with Jordan Brand. Though Balvin’s post revealing the collaboration is somehow confusing as it contained some album-centric caption, but it somehow indicates an upcoming release for the artist’s second collaboration with Jumpan after his 2020’s J Balvin x Air Jordan 1.
Don Jose’s single photo of this collaboration is a close-up of a white Jumpman logo, below which sits a special white and green Air Graphic that remarkably features Balvin’s lightning bolt logo. Although, it’s impossible to conclude which model the logo appears on, as it is rested on a plain back base with two lines of stitching above and one below.
The year 2021 is marking the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan 12, and 20th anniversary for the Air Jordan 17, but a collaborative partner with Balvin’s size is the best when it comes to retro Air Jordan silhouettes and is likely not obligated to any brand initiatives. It is also said that Balvin’s latest take is going to be a team-focused model just like the Jordan Delta 2.
Grab a look at the image below and keep speculating the pair it could be as a potential confirmation could be expected after the release of Jose.
