In the past we saw the high resell prices of Travis Scott and Nike collab sneakers and now Nike is expanding its list of celebrities to master the art of aligning with influencers.
The Air Jordan 1 High X J Balvin was seen for the first time at Superbowl halftime shoe in February when the Colombian singer himself wore that shoe. Although images were floating all around the web in January but it was very uncertain at that time. The Colombian icon has been running up the numbers in recent years wherein he collaborated with likes of Cardi B, Bad Bunny, Major Lazer, and more, is now receiving his very own Air Jordan 1 collaboration.
The kicks are an expression of Balvin’s loud fashion statement with upper upgraded with edgy/extended overlays and is present with multi-colored gradient base resting with a cream colored tongue. The shoe comes with stark black shoe strings and Balvin’s signature happy face logo embossed on left tongue and lateral heels.
Balvin told through an interview that the production of shoe was pushed back because of Covid pandemic and will release in 2020 holiday season.
The shoe is going to drop on Nike.com and limited retailers. Balvin’s loud and bling personality matches with the shoe’s aesthetics and surely expect a high resale price for this sneaker.
