Fashion and graphic designer Jeff Staple in collaboration with psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker Liz Beecroft have worked to make a capsule collection of apparel and accessories as an ode to Mental Health Awareness Month. The pack created by Staple x Mentl Sesh is dubbed as “A Staple of Your Well-Being” and involves a hoodie, t-shirt, wellness journal, pill box and a stress reliever pigeon toy.
To pump up launch, Staple and Beecroft opted for a conversation about mental health, during which Jeff opened up about his own mental health journey and how he dealt with stress over the course of his career. For anyone interested to know about the conversation , it is available on the Mentl Sesh Youtube channel.
“Mental health is important and is something each and every single one of us has,” stated Beecroft in a press release. “By collaborating on this collection with Jeff, we’re breaking down the stigma behind the topic of mental health especially within the streetwear space. It’s okay to be honest and real about your feelings and what we go through.”
To shop the capsule collection, one can visit Staple Pigeon, where it is available exclusively . All proceeds will benefit Made of Millions, a nonprofit advocacy organization seeking to change how the world perceives mental health.
